Sam
Jamieson EET (Level Two)
Sam
Jamieson has been involved with horses since she was 4 years
old and although currently in her 30's her passion for horses
continues. She has experience of many different types and
breeds of horses of all ages from foals, stallions, riding
school horses, happy hackers and competition horses, has
competed BSJA, ridden horses trained to high school level
and worked at a stud, riding schools, hunting, dealing,
dressage and eventing yards to name but a few.
Sam
is now based near Holbeach, South Lincolnshire which is
on the borders of Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk
with her Husband Ash and daughter Emily, running Meadowbrook
Stables, a friendly yard with excellent facilities offering
livery, schooling and tuition for both adults and children
being especially sympathetic to riders who have lost their
confidence due to experiencing this herself.
There
are various horses/ponies available for lessons or you are
more than welcome to bring your own (there is ample parking
for trailers and lorries). All the horses are trained in-hand,
which is of great benefit to teach you correct feel of lateral
work as a rider and lunge lessons are extremely popular.
Lessons and courses are available to learn in hand yourself
as well as long lining, lungeing, other groundwork, flatwork,
jumping, clicker training also including under saddle and
stable management.
Sam
is qualified with the British Horse Society as a BHSAI/Intermediate
Stable Manager and is a Level Two Enlightened Equitation

Anna
Viberg EET (Level Two)
Anna
was Heather’s working student winter and spring 05-06. Totally
mad about horses since she was a small child, she started
to take riding lessons aged 9 in her native Sweden, and
for many years rode every horse and pony she could find
in her local area, giving her much valuable experience.
She worked as head girl for a period at a thoroughbred stud
and dressage yard, before moving to Manchester, England,
in 1991 to start university. She consequently had a break
from riding regularly, but the passion for horses never
left her. She kept in touch by doing lots of reading, discovered
classical dressage, and then came across Heather’s articles
and teachings in the mid-1990s. She threw herself back into
riding again in 1999, bought her Welsh Sec D Merlin, who
she started to train using classical principles backed up
with clicker training, and had her first lesson with Heather
in 2002.
She
has a special interest in teaching the correct seat, in
clicker training and long-reining, and has, apart from with
Heather, trained with Becky Holden (clicker training, in
hand work) and Jenny Franklin (long reining).
She
firmly believes correct basics are vital, and trains using
positive reinforcement as her main tool, which works both
for horses and pupils! Anna is based in Stockport, Cheshire
and teaches on a freelance basis. She can be contacted on
the Forum under the username “Anna”, or on mobile: 07980
379 363 or e-mail: anna.viberg@hotmail.co.uk. She is also
a sales agent for the Enlightened Equitation Fhoenix saddles.
