Fhoenix FAQ

We are pleased to announce the arrival of the Fhoenix concept saddle (patent pending). These saddles are made by Nursey’s in Suffolk, UK, who also manufacture the Seatbone Saver saddle pad and Backsaver under saddle pad for Enlightened Equitation.

Ordering

Enlightened Equitation highly recommend you trial a Fhoenix saddle before purchase, to ensure that you have the perfect model for you and your horse and that it is suitable for your needs.

USA/CANADA RESIDENTS may order Fhoenix concept saddles for demonstration and/or purchase. The cost of demonstration is GBP45 (approx US$85) for one week's hire, including a weekend - please email Shannon Olson on ussales@enlightenedequitation.com, or contact one of our US Agents listed below, for further details. Security, in the form of a credit card, will be required for the duration that you have the Fhoenix on trial.

The price is the same for each model of Fhoenix, payable in GB Pounds Sterling by credit card or bank transfer, at a cost of £950 (c. US$1940) plus £120 (c. US$245) for postage and packing, with a US imports duty and taxes of approximately $110. These figures are based on exchange rates for October 2007, and may vary in the future. Some Agents may accept payment in US Dollars.

Models and prices

The Fhoenix is available in black or brown and in the following sizes. Suede seat and/or knee option is only available with a butt leather flap.

   Sizing*
    16" childs, suitable for ponies up to 14.2hh maximum - not available in the Vogue
    17" small adult/teenager, and for smaller horse/pony 14hands to 15.2hh
    18" adult, cob types and longer backed small horses from 15 hands, and any height above this.

* Measurements are taken, in inches, from the front of the pommel to the centre of the cantle and are approximate.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SHOULD YOU WISH TO RETURN YOUR SADDLE OTHER THAN FOR MANUFACTURING FAULTS OR UNDER SIMILAR STATUTORY RIGHTS, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE UP TO 25% RESTOCKING FEE. THE SADDLE MUST BE IN NEW CONDITION OR A FURTHER CHARGE MAY BE MADE FOR WEAR AND TEAR. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS ARE NOT AFFECTED.
