Fhoenix FAQ

We are pleased to announce the arrival of the Fhoenix concept saddle (patent pending). These saddles are made by Nursey’s in Suffolk, UK, who also manufacture the Seatbone Saver saddle pad and Backsaver under saddle pad for Enlightened Equitation.

Enlightened Equitation highly recommend you trial a Fhoenix saddle before purchase, to ensure that you have the perfect model for you and your horse and that it is suitable for your needs.

Models and prices

The Fhoenix is available in black or brown and in the following sizes. Suede seat and/or knee option is only available with a butt leather flap.

    Sizing*
    Child size - with small flaps for children (moulded panel only) - approx 16"
    Petite size - for petite adults (moulded panel only) - approx 16"
    Small size - for the smaller adult rider - approx 17"
    Standard size - for the average adult rider - approx 17.5-18"
    Plus size - for the slightly fuller figured - approx 19".

If you are unsure as to which sizing would suit you and your horse/pony, please contact customercare@enlightenedequitation.com giving your height, weight and dress size plus the height and build of your horse.

* Measurements are taken, in inches, from the front of the pommel to the centre of the cantle and are approximate.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SHOULD YOU WISH TO RETURN YOUR SADDLE OTHER THAN FOR MANUFACTURING FAULTS OR UNDER SIMILAR STATUTORY RIGHTS, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE UP TO 25% RESTOCKING FEE. THE SADDLE MUST BE IN NEW CONDITION OR A FURTHER CHARGE MAY BE MADE FOR WEAR AND TEAR. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS ARE NOT AFFECTED.
