  • My younger daughter got what the doctor called a fungal infection on her arm. When I said do you mean ringworm, she said yes, but we don't call it that any more because it confuses people. Used to have a terrible stigma too and children were ostracized in the playground for it. I think she got canesten for it bit it didn't work well. Sarah did a bit of googling - useful sometimes- and started putting tea tree oil on it- and hot washing bedding and towel for a few days, and it went quite quickly.

  • Athletes foot and jock (ie crotch) itch are also both ringworm  :o
