I practiced trying to keep my contact consistent - elbows back and down, outside hand still except when flexing to ask for him to drop his nose, open inside hand to help him with bend. Find it hard remembering everything, whilst keeping my position under control too! Especially in trot.

so we desperately need to see some PICCIES of you & Estribor!

it really is lovely to read another rider's journey with a young horse  wink

Abi,

Can you believe at the PMG clinic, it will have been nearly a year since the equisimulator course?!?  Shocked !  Look how far you've come, well done you, you must be feeling really chuffed.  I'm so pleased for you!

Elaine.

P.S.  Keep up with journal, I'm learning a lot!

THanks for your replies guys. I always think that my riding level is so basic that it won't be of interest to anyone!

Elaine - WOW, yes, i hadn't thought of that. Never imagined back then that I'd have a spanish horse and be training with such great teachers. Life is funny huh?

Trish - Rach is threatening to take lots of pics at the PMG clinic  Shocked

Cobstar - thanks for the encouragement!
