For those of you who have subscribed to Horses for Life, here's an interesting article on one of the foremost authorities on Baucher alive today. It might help clarify some things, put two and two together, and give an introduction to Monsieur Racinet who has three books on the subject (well, related at least).
You're right, Heather, this is an extremely valuable resource and is well worth anyone subscribing to for anyone who has any interest at all in correct classical riding. There's even an article in April on how clicker training is introduced in a student's lesson plan!
It will be fun to discuss any and all of the articles in this magazine. Maybe we can pick some out to get started?

Hi Christina,
I think this is a great idea, but am struggling to find time to read up all the fascinating articles on HFL at the moment! There is just so much! But hoping to have a bit more time next week, and like you, am furiously printing off stuff to read at leisure- had better order some more printer cartridges!

Hi Heather, I suggested to Nadja that perhaps she might want to have a discussion forum on HER site for HFL members so that they could toss around the ideas she brings up. She's very much for it, but like you, doesn't have much time for it, nor the expertise to put it together. However, as far as moderating it, I don't think she need feel she has to be answering all the posts, perhaps only jumping in where she feels like it. Some discussion forums are left to their own devices, and I think that would work very well. That might be preferable to burdening this EE forum unless people wanted to bring ideas into the Classical Riding section.
I wish it would make up its mind if it's going to storm or not -- I HATE riding in thunder storms, and we get some doozies here!

I think discussing the articles in here are good. We do it quite often with magazine articles and DVD's so I don't think this would be any different.
I'm looking forward to getting full access to the site, luckily I also have access to a very powerful colour laser printer so I think I'm going to be doing a lot of printing on the quiet at work.
