Today was my first in-hand walk with Morgan. Morgan is my friend's gelding of unknown origin Parelli trained. My friend let me take care of Morgan.

I rode him sunday morning, he is a fairly laid back horse. My friend Piera has scheduled a hack for friday morning.

Morgan has not been hacking for a while. So I thought that to take him for in-hand walk, would not hurt  <_<

I wanted to know how he spooked i.e. stop, pirouette, and bolt, or stop and stare.

Well luckily for me Morgan is the latter. He stops, he starts to blow hard, but he does not run away... he needed just a bit reassurance to walk on. I was very happy with this result, he trusted me when I told him there were no lions out to get him. What a good boy!

Now where did I go to get him really spooked ??  huh

well, there are two building sites next to the yard, with crane, loud builders, today there was even a cracking fire, and thingy to make cement working. Goodie! lots of noises and movements.

Morgan was a champ to face it all.

I am very happy  Smiley
