Just had my first EE riding lesson with Yvonne today....I have devoured Heathers book,so know the theory Undecided I am going back to basics having had 30 yrs off so was a bit apprehensive cry Yvonne was so nice and considerate of all my aches, dodgy joints and mental impediments  ( mega lack of confidence) I actually did leg yield and shoulder in!!! ( with just a little help from Y ) AND she said I had a good rising trot thumbs so feeling chuffed ATM even tho my legs feel like jelly! so having nice relaxing bath and two paracetemol before bed ! Thanks Yvonne Cheesy

That's great, and I know about the 30 year break myself!

Hope you go from strength to strength.

Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed awww thanks!!

I must say you were an absolute pleasure to teach ........ and you MUST stop referring to yourself as a cr*p rider!! Apart from the wonky bits caused by your accident you sit very nicely, and are lovely and soft in your rising trot.

You're like me with aches, anything new hurts in 2 seconds flat. Mind you at least you can comfortably sit on the dressage saddle WITH the knee blocks on - unlike me  ouch ouch cry

We can progress slowly so that you don't ache too much and there is so much good to work with already  nod thumbs Oh and Penny is  wub wub

Yx.
