So good to hear Jess, well done on making such a difference to the lovely Woodster  thumbs

Out of interest what therapy / treatment / work did you use to get him back level and sound?

Thanks everyone  Embarrassed

Larri - a bit of everything really. Daily stretches, including three legged ones(!), working him in a mullen mouth pelham to encourage him to take the weight behind, polework, transitions, lunging in a pessoa (loose fitting), regular physio, continuing with his naked feet, working him for longer on his weaker side, lots of stretching breaks during a schooling session, hillwork, roadwork, things like that. I also found sorting his tummy out helped his movement - he had a course of gastrogard over the summer, and I've been trying to sort out his cellular balance (particularly potassium/magnesium balance) to help everything work a bit more efficiently. Particularly his liver, as he had a recent blood test which showed elevated liver enzymes, so in the spring he is going to be re-tested and may need an ultrasound and biopsy  mellow

Hats off to you for sticking with him and seeing it through Jess, I know it wasn't an easy journey, but that picture is a testament to your hard work  hug

Even if I wasn't the one who asked, I'll say thanks for that post. I'm in the process of figuring out my own horsie (who's headed for seniority), so reading about your experiences is interesting.

Fab to see you back!  thumbs

Are you at Uni now?  Woody looks absolutely fab; I'm guessing from the pic that you've prevailed against parental/sisterly opposition to your views on how Woody should be looked after  whistle  wink Cheesy

Thinkerbell - what sort of things have you been trying to figure out? Smiley

And lesha, yes I fought my corner enough that they don't even bother getting involved now  laugh

That"s a bit of a long story, I'll come back to it when I'm not on the cell phone.
