Thanks everyone  Smiley

Bless him  :wub:Looks a lovely sort - Do you ride him?

Hi, no he isnt ridden, I backed him at 11 when I got him, he had stood doing nothing his whole life and was kept on his own in a postage stamp field with severe sweetitch that was never treated  cry  but he had a lot of mental issues (later found out that he had been started as a youngster to be a plough horse but it had gone wrong / been done badly  sad)  He had learnt to use his strength against you and bucked and reared when stressed, real nasty stuff.
Think with having more knowledge now I may have been able to work through more with him but at the time I already had a horse to ride and worked long hours.  So decided just to keep him as a pet and give him a nice life.  Did some join up type stuff with him and he is very settled in life but he is still very unpredictable if put under stress for Vet visits etc  sad

He doesnt like to be actually handled much but is always first to come and say hello when you are in the field  wub
