My pal Mel has just posted mine and Jims latest walk trot test. I was a bit unhappy with it at first, we were not too good on our bends, he had been in, so was little 'busy', but after watching the other video's I am delighted with our effort, and after seeing the other horses, see how differently they ride, and how the interpretation of the test varies, i'm even more happy with our result.

Tucked in chins, double bridles, wibbly wobbly trots, oh do i sound awful...  laugh laugh laugh I am a bit of a perfectionist, and I am really critical of myself. it might just be the olympic games. laugh laugh laugh

UPDATE just done the 2nd one the canter test, and i'm wagging my tail now, it was a wonderful experience riding Jim when he was feeling so great.  Having a blank canvas and getting great results, gives you so much pleasure.  happy mummy now.

i broke my pooter last night, its still not happy, so cant upload the canter test. Broke my phone too, so wasn't a good day yesterday.

Lucy rode him today for her lesson, odd watching someone else ride him. She was a bit hard on him in the rein back, so he refused to comply. I will show her how to ride him more gently.

He's a real spud, tries so hard, I am really happy now, to be able to get on and do stuff, where we were just stuck in a rut before.

Yes he is coming on well now, and I am really looking forward to getting him out and about. I was so pleased with his canter test, not a lot of canter yet, but JJ has said she wants to just establish him before pushing for things he's not ready for, so cant argue with that. I would hate to go backwards.

Mell my fingers were frozen doing you video.... laugh

You did really well getting Billy do the test, with the 'boys' crashing about in the mud next to the school. Not sure I would have carried on.
