Bally has just had her final follow up scan post her suspensory injury in February last year......
AND
After 342 days of blood, sweat, tears, box rest, pen rest, egg bar shoes, hosing, icing, bandaging, ultrasound, DMSO, cartrophen, six weekly scans, a catastrophic injury in May, oh and walking, walking and a bit more walking....
SHE HAS BEEN SIGNED OFF COMPLETELY
SOUND

Despite a worrying scan 12 weeks ago, where Conor told me it was as healed as it ever would be...i.e not, and that all I could do was crack on with the rehab work and she'd either stay sound or break

This scan was normal - completely, no swelling or fibre disruption normal. Totally healed and un-noticable. He said she'd pass any vetting on it now

Conor said it was a testament to the hard work I've put in..and I agreed

and then we both agreed it was no thanks to his insistence on those bliddy feckity useless egg bar shoes

I am over the moon, for Bally and her future more than anything else. I can now safely pass her on to another loan home in the Spring knowing I've done the very best I could with her and I hope she goes on to prove me right for believing in her - which has been so very hard.
On that note a massive Thank you to everyone who supported me on the dark days when I couldn't see any light at the end of the tunnel. Looks like I found it in the end
