Heather, you mentioned that you have a saddle fitting kit available to help us select the correct dimensions and fit. Do you actually sell them or can you tell us where to get one from, please. I'm not sure what size flexee I'm going to need so any help would be great. Also, when can we begin to place orders? I have already had a couple of enquiries from my area. thumbs

Thanks for that. I've just had a quick peak and noticed it says not suitable for fitting treeless saddles. I'm presuming that means the type that are like the barefoot, possibly. Anyhow, I shall look in to it. Have you used anything like this, yourself?

Our saddles aren't treeless, though Yvonne and even with treeless saddles taking a wither tracing will enable the rider to check development, and also would allow more accurate padding options.

We will be stocking the kits shortly on the website, as we will need them especially in the US and Oz where we cant get agents out to the buyer due to sheer distance. I have one here already and it is a great idea! Its called the Perfect Fit Kit, Yvonne, and has a website.

Advance orders can be placed from January, but it is all a bit hit and miss on shipping at the moment. We are totally at the mercy of the carriers and it will take a little experimentation to get the best service. For you agents, dressage saddles will be available to buy as demos from the beginning of February and we will have 25 GPs coming in at the end of Feb/beginning of March. From then on, we will start producing more saddles as long as we get orders! Don't hesitate to give me a ring if you need to chat. nod

Pardon my voice of dissention, and much as I am sure the kit is very useful. We live in straitened times and it looks to me like a flexicurve, some card, cornflake packets are the right size, chalk, and instructions that are readily available in one of the stapled, small guide series. I could not see a price on the site.

The kit will only assist those with a will properly to learn how to use it. There are many out there who haven't.

When I was looking for a pony, I tried several who's saddles were totally unsuitable for either them or the rider.

I thought so, too, at first, so I followed a link to a stockist. It seems to cost £20. In  that case it may actually be cheaper than to get a flexicurve (they are pretty expensive in Norway, at least, and I had a hard time finding my long one) and a book like Kay Humphries'.

A flexi curve here is less than £5
