It's great to watch the Iceys doing this kind of work, especially since we hear so often that gaited horses can't "do" dressage...stuff and nonsense!!!

I often look for any videos that are associated with Bent Branderup as the riders are always so quiet and elegant and do superb work.  Where can you consistently view videos of work like this, huh?

Thanks for sharing.

I know we managed to shock a few people several years ago when we entered a dressage test with ours who 'just hack' - you should have seen their faces when my daughter took 1st and 2nd place  laugh

We have an Icey or two who are taking French Classical dressage with Manuel Trigo and one pair took the Passage and Piaffe clinic with me and my Lusitano, Xino, last November, and I'm expecting her to do the next one in February!

I do a lot of the same basic work with my Saddlebred, and he's coming along very well, considering his conformation... rofl  It was Chuck Grant who took his Saddlebreds to Haute Ecole, and there was someone else that Nadja King showed on a video in her online magazine a few years back -- awesome horses, and so elegant!

I love them too. But then i'm a pony person.

No one who sees me riding Jim [13.2 ] thinks an adult should not ride a pony.
