The competition will run from now until 10pm on Monday 2nd January 2012. Please submit your photo in the appropriate section. You may enter photos taken by someone else e.g of you on your horse, but strictly no professionals work please!

Each entry is £2 per photo or you may do 6 entries (in any section) for £10.

An additional caption competition is also running so if you wish to also enter that type the caption below your photo before you submit it. A prize will be given to the most suitable caption, I shall ask Heather to judge it. Please add another 50p per caption if you wish to enter.

The sections are:

Handsomest Gelding or Stallion
Prettiest mare
Group image (may be non horsey)
Funny image (may be non horsey)
Action (may be non horsey)
Wildlife
Other pet
Cute (may be non horsey)
Christmas

All monies owed must be paid before the finish time or they will be eliminated from the competition. Paypal to ythomas@homecall.co.uk or other method by agreement - pm me. Please send as a gift and include your forum name and how many photos & captions it is for.

Each section will be judged by a poll after the close of the competition. Voting for the sections will run from 9am Tuesday 3rd January until 10pm Wednesday 4th January.  Voting for the overall winner will run from 9am Thursday 5th January until 10pm Friday 6th January.  The winner will be announced by 11am Saturday 7th January.

The winner of each section will receive a print courtesy of Izzywizz. The overall winner will receive a commission in pastel courtesy of Izzywizz.

Please don't make any comments on individual photographs - but general comments can be made in this thread, along with any questions you may have Smiley
