Jim last year in the saddle i got from goldfinch, i think its called a freefit??   Id put it on too far forward, but it gives an idea of how it looks on him. A pony that was a nightmare to fit a saddle to. I have used this saddle on loads of horses of different heights and widths.

Saddles are a problem for so many of us to find and to fit. This saddle is my very very favorite, and then the freemax dressage. Now I want a  brown suede tree less so the hunt is on.

Equine Whispers do their own treeless saddles(called Libra), pretty much like the one in this photos, in brown suede also  nod  check them out on ebay.  They have good feed back on the net and on forums.

They also have other models

Scroll to the bottom; the Elite dressage is available in brown suede.

I used to have the exact same model, so if you need any info I might be able to help.

I only sold it as my horse has freakish action, which combined with my back problems means I need more stability than a true treeless can offer. I'm hoping Heather's new leathertree might be a solution.

Thanks, will do.
Everyone who has sat on the freemax dressage, loves it. No one has ever noticed that its a tree less, and were shocked when they knew.

Does anyone know if the fitform is dressage legal??.. a friend wants to borrow it as she is mid saddle.

The rules just say:
"English or Continental style... treeless saddles are permited..." so I would say so.  I have competed in my barefoot so I would have thought 'Fitform' saddles would be accepted too.

Good thanks, ive ridden a test or two in ti, but had heard there were new rules???

Anyhow she's riding in it, and if anyone complains we will deal with it, im going to print off the rules, so should be ok.
