Me too. Also ( and here comes another of my questions - sorry girls!) how do we judge what width we would need to suit a particular horse, because they come in 2 width fittngs? Without buying one of each to try.

Hi folks, the saddles will be available first to my agents and EETs/TTs, so that they have demo models. I am hoping that they will be ready for sale to the general public by the early New Year- delivery by ship takes about a month.
There is a new saddle fitting kit on the market for the owner- the Perfect Fit kit, which we will be selling. It is very good and has had great write up in the BETA magazine, Equestrian Trade News. It shows you how to take wither patterns very accurately, and by doing this, you can then send us the wither tracing and we will know which saddle you would need.
But in all honesty, if you have a horse whose tree is normally wide to extra wide, then the wider one would be the right one. If your horse is atrophied through too tight a saddle previously and will widen out, then this would be when I would especially recommend the fit kit.
The narrower breeds like a TB would usually need the narrower front arch. There are no points so the panels move in or out anyway according to the width, but you dont want a pommel that sticks up a mile on a wide horse, nor one that may drop too low on an atrophied one. Hence the fit kit is a really useful addition.

With this in mind, Heather, would it be sensible for us EETT's to wait until our final module when you will (hopefully) be including a section on fitting your saddles. We could also see the fitting kit then, too.

not if it means we have to wait until whenever that is before being able to buy a saddle, LOL (thinking this would be perfect for Gaynor and i wouldn't mind a GP myself...)

Yvonne, this probably would be the most sensible thing, and Claire, I think that you would actually be fine without needing an agent/fitter. You have used my saddles before and these are if anything easier to fit than even the Fhoenix or Vogue, at least for the owner, and especially now the fit kit is available.

you'll be right on that, heather, but i understood you to say you wouldn't be selling to the general public until after you'd supplied agents and EET's?

Claire, I could still probably assist you as I have a basic knowledge of saddle fitting due to many years of working with horses, and a good friend of mine is a master saddler qualified fitter. So if Heather will supply you with them, I can atleast check them out. I shouldn't think Charlie will be a problem to fit but MF may be a little harder due to his TB frame.

Claire, I think Yvonne meant just her group of EETTs waiting for the next module - but I'm certainly hoping Heather can get some saddles out to other EETs and agents asap - so hopefully there'll be no need for you to hang on if you can fit it yourself or with Yvonne's help!
