This is something I would definitely be interested in...With losing Safi and then doing the youngsters and hunters followed by the full stop to Bally's work post injuries I haven't ridden anything with a decent level of schooling for about three / four years now.  sad

Having Ziggy to back and train up and knowing he certainly has the abilty, paces and attitude for the higher level work it would be incredibly useful for me to jog my memory as to correct aiding and riding the movements again before I'm in the position of having to teach it all to my poor horse!

Can you let us know an idea of dates and costs Heather? Early next year if you are up and running by then  thumbs

Sadly at the moment there seems to be little feedback or interest, even from the teachers. I would have to ensure that there is enough revenue coming in to pay for the license, insurance and any extra rates, to make it viable, folks. sad

I think you'll have s lot of interest on the back of the book - from a much wider bas tive forum / Facebook pages. Maybe people don't want to commit online - particularly until you've a clearer idea if options /prices?
And from an entirely selfish point of view, I want to come! (is there a tantrum stamping feet sulky smiley?)

Obviously Kathy and I are very interested, but I am the same as the others that until I have an idea of costs I couldn't commit.  You need to work out at least rough costings to give potential customers an idea as to whether they can afford to come as money is tight for everyone at the moment.  As a potential customer I would also need to know what is included in the price.  For example a day rate of £120 would include a dismounted workshop, a simulator session and a ridden lesson? etc, etc.

Heather, i would be interested in bringing my ginger giraffe for a few days and combining inhand/ridden/sim etc. Again would need an idea of costs. Could we both stay on the yard? ( me in lorry)

I'd love to have lessons with you, Heather.

If I ever have the funds, I'd be interested. Mind you, I'm not sure if I'm still too nervous for any of those horses or not.

Um, so I realize this topic is a little old, but any progress on the topic? I would be really excited to know about it. I am done in Malawi in April of 2013 and I am thinking about traveling a little in Europe when I am done, before going back to the states.  If there is a chance for training before going back I would be very interested. I will have gone two years without riding and more than that without serious training and I am looking for a way to kind of jump start things.
