Have been having a quiet browse on the forum over the past couple of weeks and decided to take the plunge and join.  So hello from South Lanarkshire....

Won't bore you with too many details but in a nutshell I own a 6 year old warmblood, "Weseraal" or Wes to his pals! I also owned a beautiful coloured show cob whom I had to sell 6 months ago but I have to mention as he is such a special horse to me, is the reason I am where I am today and I still miss dreadfully -  however personal and financial circumstances meant I had to sell.....  I will try and put photos of both of them up when I get the chance.

I am a working mum with two teenage boys who have very active lifestyles so I need to be mega organised to ensure I get horsey time.  Neither hubby or children are interested in horses so it's nice to touch base with others who are on a similar wavelength  nod

I am a keen dressage and flatwork fan and am going through a big learning curve with my riding - courtesy of Wes! - and am interested in exploring a more classical approach.  So I'm on a quest to learn as much as I can, improve my riding and in turn work better with my boy.

I have already found some very useful posts and articles on here and hope you all won't mind if I ask few questions along the way..... Smiley

Oooooops, major mistake.....I did not introduce Millie, my German Shorthaired Pointer/shadow! - she is looking at me aghast that I introduced everyone except her  Embarrassed

She's my special girlie and loves nothing more than running around the yard, accompanying horses on hacks and the obligatory eating horse poo!

Excuse me if i am going to be completely wrong  Embarrassed, but I think I have met you before - if you are the hat dancer that is friendly with Gilli and Harli?  If so, I had Dom, the other coloured cob of the pairs partnership when we went to Ingliston......

Nice to see someone who I think I know a kind of little  Cheesy
