I'm asking the first question because someone on another forum has made me think to ask (they are considering an HM saddle and I said I rode in one) and the second question I am asking purely for her *but* it might help get a saddle sale so although I feel a bit cheeky asking for somebody else who isn't a member of the forum or a personal friend I hope people don't mind!

Question 1)

Jumping?  Do people jump in their HM GPs, specifically Fheonix Vogue GPs?  How much jumping?  Are there any problems? (E.g. does the saddle slip/is it prone to slipping)

Question 2)

Is anybody available to go and fit the saddles anywhere in Scotland?

That's it.  Thanks in advance.

Well I have jumped in a vogue gpt with no problems, I used a breastplate for added security; but I'd do that with most saddles for jumping. That's show jumping and low level hunter trial. The only thing I'd say is to jump over about 2 ft 6, then the lowered cantle (which I've got) would be important. if the saddle fits well anyway it should be ok, but as with all saddles they suit some horses more than others. Think I'd want more forward set stirrup bars for big big jumps say above 1.20m classes, but I haven't and am certainly not likely to go there,so that's just speculation.

That is a really useful answer, thank you!  Smiley
