Woo another NE-er!
OK, I'm actually in France now, but hail from Sunderland. I'm going to try and organise a NE meet-up next time I'm back in the UK, it should be quite a jolly crowd.
Unfortunately I can't give you any advice on horse keeping in the NE as I didn't get my own until after I left the area.
Welcome to EE, I'm sure you will enjoy it here... pics are kind of mandatory though

You've got Vic and Peaches up Newcastle way, so not that far out.

spent a lot of time there in the past writing for dressage for BE - Pauline used to provide a good spread! is it still for sale? as others have said, there's Vic, Peaches, and Nicola in Newcastle (not forgetting Andy, of course, our webmaster and Vic's OH)

And Siskin, as I've recently discovered
Hi, welcome! Yep I'm a NE'er, in Tyne Valley bit west of Newcastle
But only part time atm as split between home and horses here, and uni south.
I know Ivesley quite well too. Lance and I LOVE the novice course there, it's fantastic. Good couple of years since we've been now though
Harry looks lovely!

HI, Welcome, I am the north part of north Yorkshire ( just south of Scotch corner)
Becky comes up here fairly regularly . She is coming to mine on Sep 12 ,Oct 17, and November 14. They are all Mondays , and so she often teaches up here on the sunday too as well as the monday .
The lessons around about the ones in my village are organised by herself. You are welcome to come here ( I have an outdoor school but no indoor) or you can contact Becky direct and she will likely be happy to travel up to you( if you pm me I will give you her mobile - best way is often texting - or find her on facebook)

Hi and welcome
I used to be a northener- spent many bucolic years in and around newcastle upon tyne and gosforth but have slipped a bit and am now in SW Wales, which is not a lot of use to you but at least i can recognise the names of places
Any one up in this area remember Mary Barrass?
Harry is a smart lad

How could people not! There's charity dressage run in her name through the RC's around the NE so the name if not the person won't be forgotten easily

Hello from Yvonne (MZZ). I live in the same village as Hilary just off the A1, 3 miles south of Scotch Corner, not far from Richmond, N Yorkshire, and lfor clients who would like EE lessons. I have been teaching freelance for over 25 years but am now concentrating on the classical style and Heather's EE is perfect. If any one would be interested in lessons and/or schooling sessions please let me know. I don't have suitle facilities at home but am happy to travel out.
