Anyone heard of these people and are they any good.   I've got them on FB and they've just announced a new clinic venue in Sussex which is not far from me at all, so might see if I can get along there.

That's Amanda Martin - I don't know her personally but she's trained with Alex K for quite awhile and I believe she is a very good trainer. I've seen some of her video clips etc and quite like what I see.  Smiley

Yes Smiley I had her out to Erin once on reccomendation of lisaNW I think it was, and she was great  nod we mainly focused on using the clicker in hand to get her yielding to the rein which went well but cos of uni etc. I haven't had her back. She is absolutely lovely and can tell she is seriously knowledgeable- if i'm honest I got a bit lost in the wealth of information she was giving me, being relatively inexperienced with the clicker. Defo worth a visit, although think she did say she doesn't use clicker in same kind of way as Becky does so horses for courses I guess! Hth!

I met Amanda at an AK clinic several years ago and she is very nice and really knows her stuff. I'm thinking of taking my boy to the West Sussex clinic if I feel brave enough but if the Kent one which is still in the planning stage is closer I might go to that one instead. I'm attending the Guildford clinic on 22nd July as a spectator!

Echo others comments and just wanted to say I'll see you on the 22nd Kathy as Amanda is staying with me and I'm coming along to help out!

No as usual I didn't manage it, work got in the way. They seem to be doing regular clinics though. If you join their page on FB, you get regular updates. I may well try to get to one of their unmounted sessions at some point, when work eventually settles back to normal.
