Just had an email from someone who purchased a saddle from me on ebay to say could she please return it as although it was adjustable it didnt fit her horse. Well doh if only life was so easy that an adjustable saddle would magically fit any horse wallbash

If she wanted to be sure a saddle fitted surely you should buy from a saddle fitter not take a chance an unseen saddle will fit doh

Did you state no returns on the ad?  Either way, I would say you only accept returns for damaged or faulty goods, as the saddle is fine just doesn't fit, (which is a risk buying any saddle via the internet) then you are very sorry but you cannot accept it back and suggest she perhaps relists it.  Smiley

I have bought several saddle from Ebay in the past - most have not fitted and were immediately relisted Smiley

Would not dream of asking a seller to take one back because it did not fit - that is the risk you take when you buy off ebay!

Re saddles on ebay...I've notice a fair few sellers but in the clause...you are bidding to buy not to try....

Yeh I just sold a pair of cycling shoes, the buyer sent me a massage saying the were too small, and he was re listing them, just one of those things.

The trouble is for you, the buyer can put bad feedback on.
