Cobs can (try...)

« on: July 05, 2011, 11:09:07 PM »

I took a half day today, as I had to drop my mum off at the airport.  After doing so I continued on to my closest tack shop, as I've been after a nice cavesson for aaaaages.

Anyway I found this...

The leather is gorgeous, and so soft on the noseband.

It must have been my lucky day, as here was only one left, and it was reduced  thumbs

I also bought myself an in-hand whip, and as soon as Pinto is fully sound again, I'm going to  get stqrted on working him in hand properly (or at least try to!)

Pinto is lame??? sad

He was being a prat in the field (or when going out to the field) and has pulled/strained something, and he is currently lame in trot on a circle.

As this happened while I was away, I'm still waiting to get the full story, and to hear exactly what happened, and what the course of action was/is.

Fortunately he has no heat or swelling in his tendons, and he is happy enough to lift both fronts off the ground without asking (both knee back, like you were going to pick the foot out, and knee up, like jambette).  So I'm hoping it something quickly fixable!
