Anyone know anything about them apart from them being cheap?

Glens owner has bought one from preloved, a med/narrow fit GP High Wither cut.

Is it going to be utter s**te? should I avoid using it until I can afford to buy him a good saddle? (anyone fancy buying a 1/1 teddy bear lol )

I do have a HM saddle pad and I'm preying there is room for its use to lessen any ill effects

Cheap and cheerful from what I have seen, although not a horrid cheap saddle, seem symetrical and have decent panels.  The one I know of is a wide though and not wide at all so you will probably find it is too narrow.

I think it will be too narrow and will be even worse if you put the backsaver pad under it.

What is her budget do you know?  I am still happy to look at a template if you post me one.

What it the best way of making a template?

I think at present sub £100 is the budget (unless I sell that bear, although can't advertise it until I leave my job)
Or unless I have a stonking day at the carboot tomorrow!

I really don't mind buying him a saddle, as if the relationship ever ends I leave with saddle in arms just my bank balance is too low at present (having to fork out a pile of pennies to achieve my goal of becoming a registered childminder)

The Thorowgood website have quite a good picture guide here http://www.thorowgood.com/fitting_guide_02.html

A flexi curve is best and you can get those from The Works or WH Smiths.
