
Thanks all, don't feel quite so sad today.
I'm glad in a way it did take them both, they had been together 10 years (with some others who I lost along the way). If one was left I'd have had to seriously consider pts as I think they may have pined away....
They were suprisingly fit and healthy for ladies of over 100 years old (in human/duck years):, spending most of the day sloshing round in their bath. We had a few token eggs every now and again, infact we had our last duck egg ommellette on Monday

.
When I dig the garden who shall have the worms now - their favourite treat! All I had to do was shout 'wormies girlies' and they would run to get them

. They'd join us for a BBQ coming right up to us, or cheekily quacking and staring through the patio door to get attention if we were inside.
They certainly brightened up my day on many a time, always cheerful and happy....
