As the title syas really... Are there were Baroque equitation classes in this country? what are they? What are the rules and the progression?
Also are there any classical rider classes? (and all of the other questions... What are they? Rules? Proression?)
Hope someone can help.
Omar

Omar, the nearest you will get is to go to a Marijke de Jong clinic of which there are a couple in July. What do you mean by 'classical rider classes'? At a riding school? If so, other than June and Damian, and now Lee at Tanglewood, who are teaching classical seat in a riding school, I don't know of anywhere else which concentrates on the riders seat, except our own teachers like yourself, who do not generally have schoolmaster horses.

Sorry Heather, I didn't explain myself very well. I meant in the sense of showing classes, such as Baroque equitation showing, I have seen a few references here and there. Are they like freestyle dressage classes?

OK time to reveal. So who would be interested in Baroque in hand and riding tests, online and later, as competitions but rosettes awarded to percentages rather than 1st 2nd 3rd etc, trying to encourage the art rather than just a sport?

I'd probably have a go especially with Bas who can't be ridden but seems to enjoy his inhand stuff - was just thinking it'd be nice for him to have something to do
