Been riding Jinx in her Sprenger bit tonight, it is a German Silver french link rugby pelham.  I forgot to pick up a curb chain so rode / schooled her without so didnt use the curb rein as no point  doh  she went well in it what would be the closest snaffle alternative??  Dont think they make a french link as this was a custom made bit?  Was thinking hanging cheek but think she also likes the loose ring aspect?

How about a simple loose ring, but with an inhand/iberian style bridle? The way the noseband runs through the cheekpieces makes it a little stiller and less free to move, but still with the loosering aspect? Lance accepts a loosering as a bradoon in a double, but not as a snaffle alone with a normal snaffle bridle as he likes things very still - however on a bridle with the set up described he now does accept it  cc_confused Just a thought...

Thats an idea, I sold my in hand bridle a while ago though  doh as bought a bitless one.  Been thinking about it and wonder if a loose ring fulmer might suit? if I used it with fulmer loops?

i still think you should try a Baucher french link whistle (you haven't yet, right?)
it was a perfect transitional bit for my boy, until he became better balanced nod.

Missed this post at the time, so bit late, but Minnie has a similar pelham to Jinx and she goes very sweetly in the Sprenger WH Ultra Soft.
