Or I should say mouthpiece help.
Im not sure what to try now and need ideas. Kerrys mouth had totally healed and she has been back in work now 3 days, then we went for a hack today and when i checked after the ride her mouth was sore both sides right inside. Edges of the mouth where fine it was the fleshy bits right inside
At no point was she even at all strong or pulling. We had a couple of excited moments but she stayed light in the hand. Most she did was a bit of head tossing so she was coming against my hand abit when she put her head down(flies I think)
All I could think was that if her mouth was a bit dry the nylon on the happymouth caused friction. Iv seen it before where happy mouths have cause friction burns but that was in horses that pull.
Before that she was in a myler but thats what she had in when her mouth got sore last time.
Im not quite sure what do to, iv never had a horse getting a sore mouth before. Yet she is light in the hand

sometimes she does get keen in canter but I dont get into pulling matches. Normally I let her bowl along till she settles or change it and do something else. In fact she doesnt let you pull as she will just come back at you and bounce upwards
