Hilary!

I owe you a HUGE thank you - you caused me to spend a whole evening reading loads and loads of Karen Pryor articles... got mainly drawn to those about behaviour chains, cues as reinforcers and related ones... So next thing, brain spinning and going overdrive, lots of notes and writing and thinking... and then the blatant realisation that the reason for the problems I've been having with my in-hand work with Jensen is simply that my loops are not neat enough!
Why I didn't see it earlier escapes me, it is so obvious - I think I was so busy looking at the forest that I couldn't see the trees.
Anyway - once I'd slept away my headache I woke up with a new plan and had a simple session with Jensen... The result?
Don't have time to elaborate or write in detail just now - will try to another time - but just can't contain my happiness and excitement and needed to share and say THANK YOU!!!!!!

That's great!
Wish I could take my own advice
Perhaps its my job - good at giving advice, never heed my own!
I need to go back to loops rather after the weekend !

Can't wait for the details!!!! Love to hear more about 'loops'. I read a long AK post about 'loopy training' but I think my brain got fried half way through and I sort of forgot about it...
