Has anyone read this?  I am most of the way through the circle of trust and was wondering whether to get his dressage book.  I don't do dressage but I do train and school out hacking and sometimes even in the school.  Will I find it useful?

I have read it, but a long time ago. Just flicking through it to remind me, I thought it was a good all round dressage (which is training) book with good diagrams and explanations of the movements.  Walter Zettl is famous for is "shoulder-in entwickeln" exercise which is a combination of shoulder in and leg yielding.  Overall it would be a book on my recommended reading list nod.

I have the book. Good stuff in it, although some of it too advanced for me. Not my favourite read in my riding book collection, as I just don't think the writing style itself is that exciting and the pictures are all sketches (at least in my edition). Still a good book, with sound kind training advice. Just not the very favourite of my books.
