Hi Wimble, I'm Swedish too

Think Heather is largely right in her reply. Haven't got time to write a long reply now, but there are some names you might want to look up: Baron Hans von Blixen-Finecke Sr and Jr, Henri St Cyr and Gustav Nyblaeus. There are a couple of photos of G. Nyblaeus in the book "Classical Horsemanship For Our Time, by Jean Froissard, which is very much of the French Classical School, so obviously J Froissard thought there is some merit in the Swedish School. I was suprised to find those photos when I bought this book, but they show Colonel Nyblaeus in 1955, jumping a fence in great style, as well as in a really rather nice piaffe, apparently on the same horse, on the same day. In my personal experience though, the Swedish School, if there is a such a thing nowadays, is quite germanic. So I moved to England (20 years ago now, though), and discovered other things, and then went to train with Heather!

Var i Sverige bor du? Mina föräldrar bor i Småland och jag åker dit minst ett par gånger om året.
