Just a quick note to apologise for the current issues with the server.

We're trying to get to the bottom of the problem, which seems (in tech speak) surround around us hitting our number or active processes limit, and out of memory page guards numbers. Which is weird as nothing has changed as far as the website/forum software for months.

What i would ask if anyone notices any specific threads causing problems let me know as it may be down to something weird like an animated signature/avatar or something similar which someone has started using. Other than that we are working with the hosts to try and resolve it, and if we can't we will move hosts.

The thread that caused me problems earlier was Emily's 'poorly pony' thread, it was slow to load and then I got a server error when I tried to post.  It was better coming back to it but still slow.

I'm having problems with the whole website being slow to load.

That may be because I am at the end of a very long line though? However, I wasn't having those problems a week ago.  Undecided

Aaah, I thought it was my pc that was giving me grief, but only with EE strangely enough  doh doh

I cannot say its to do with particular threads but when I move away from a page to the unread posts it crashes EE out and comes up with an error message!
