Think Heather should as I am sure she originally designed them Smiley Though I might have got that wrong  paperbag

I had one for a short time and it was far too tight across the withers for Rija and yet very wide in the twist for me, so I sold it.

Same as Helen, I had one on trial and found it way too tight over the withers for any of mine.  I ended up with a Barry Swain semi-flex which is far superior IMO  Smiley

It was the successor to my Flexion Supreme and the forerunner of the Semiflex. Barrie sold the patent to the owner of Mondial Industries. Technically, he also owns the Semiflex as far as I know.

Love them. I've got two - one for each of my horses. After almost five years of problems with saddles and thousands of pounds down the swanny I didn't know where to go next. I found a Mondial saddle in a little dusty saddlery. The owner didn't know what it was as it had come in as a part-exchange. I took it on trial and instantly my horse was happier. I wasn't going to get too elated though as this was a familiar pattern. It was a bargain price though so I took a gamble. I did think it a little tight across the wither as he is an Irish Draught. I spoke to Barrie Swain who told me to take a wither template and send the saddle back to him and he'll widen it. Two years later and I'm still extremely pleased with it. I can't begin to describe how my horse's back has muscled up. I was so pleased with it that I kept a keen eye on eBay and as soon as I spotted another one I snapped it up. This time it was for a TB X and the fit is absolutely fine.

I did design most of this, but not those horrible flexible points, which to my mind pulled down into the shoulders. I chopped the points off my prototypes with my goats foot trimming shears. Worked much better!
