Yes, they should do Chrissie. I designed a saddle for Bates, in fact they bought the very Barrie Swain saddle on my then website to take apart in the workshop to take patterns etc. My design of course, had the set back bars. Unbeknown to me, they had been taking prototypes to Isabel Werth to try, and she found the bars being set back, so much easier to ride with.
Suffice it to say that after nearly 4 years, my saddle design was dumped, and the Isabel appeared a few weeks later, with a lot of the features that I had provided. I do not believe she knew of my involvement. But suffice it also to say, I was not paid a penny. That is why I went to TG to work with them on the HM Griffin.
They stopped making it because the company owner said that you had to learn to ride 'my way' or you couldnt ride on them. Erm, I have never claimed the ear/shoulder/hip/heel line as my own!!

I now think people, as with my other saddles, need to realise that they must not inadvertently try to hold the leather back at an angle as they have to do with other saddles. The TG would have tipped them on their fork had they done this.
Great shame as it was a good saddle at a great price
