I keep forgetting to look at her eyelashes but I remembered this morning! Yes, they are peroxide blonde. I am totally amazed I haven't noticed it all this time. The number of times I've cleaned around them! They are so obvious when you look at her as they really stand out against her almost black skinned areas around the eyes. So thank you for asking about that.
I wonder if all Palominos have that trait? I certainly don't remember my old Palomino mare having them but perhaps this silly woman had never noticed in the twenty four years I had her!
I must admit it's got me worrying now what else I might be missing.
Thanks again to everyone for their nice comments and great welcome. I'm toying with the idea of doing a blog of our progress but it could end up being a bit embarrasing so I'll have to see if I can pluck up courage and find the time!
