Unfortunantly, my adorable ferret Houd died in my arms this morning  cry  He had come out for a cuddle and play, had a potter round as normal and a little sleep, then I'd picked him up to give him a cuddle before going back to bed whilst I went to see the horses with Mum, and he just cuddled close tp me and died.  He was a very old ferret between 9 and 10 years old - we're not quite sure as he had come from rescue after being found on the streets of Birmingham and had been in rescue for quite a while until we gave him a lovely home.  He loved his treats - raisins and 'cat' chocolate buttons, and loved to raid the biscuit barrel when he could manage to get the lid off.  He has missed Tim greatly since he died, despite the extra attention he's been having.

And this one was only taken on Friday,

RIP Houd and run free with Tim

RIP Houdini - run free over Rainbow Bridge reunited with Tim doing all those things ferrets delight in. There will be raisins, 'chocolate' drops and biscuit barrels to entertain you, handsome boys.

hug hug hug hug for you Fiona. How lovely that he wanted to be cuddled up close to you as you helped him pass over Rainbow Bridge  hug hug hug

Rest In Peace Houdini hug
sounds like he had a great life with you, and now he's having a grand time running with his buddy Tim again....
