It is a must for any Iberian owner/enthusiast, Mandeigh. Sylvia has written a definitive work on the subject and should not be missed!!

Itīs not specially Lusitano-oriented maybe a little (because S.Loch has lived in Portugal) The subhead is: The story of the Andalusian and Lusitano. It tells the history and life of the Iberian and baroque horse and their influence on some other European horses. I got the book the year after Sylvia Loch wrote it (1987) and she desribed also the circumstances of that time . I donīt know if she has done complementary work later on.

I donīt want to cause too much pressure on you
The large part of the book tells about the role of the Iberian horse in European history with some drawings and pics. If you are not particularly interested in that maybe the better choice to begin is:
Living and working with the HORSE OF SPAIN by Peter Maddison-Greenwell and Jane Lake.
