Hello to all and here's hoping I've put this in the right place. rolleyes

Anyhow, I have been meaning to join for simply ages and finally did it.  I was booked in to go on Heather's course in, I think, 2001/2002 but twice had to cancel due to firstly an injury then a family problem!!  I bought Heather's book Enlightened Equitation, which is fabulous, and have the seat saver.  Didn't attend her Clinic in Aberdeenshire recently as had nobody to go with and now could kick myself.  I have Arab horses, 2 entires and 2 mares, am a widow, the children have flown the nest and my old mum stays with me most of the time and gets horses breakfast, dinner and tea!! Embarrassed  Also used to have a fabulous Hispano-Arabe mare.  Owned her from a 3 year old and sold her when she was about 11 a couple of years ago.  Worst thing I did as she was a fabulous ride and tried her heart out and always trying to please.  My youngest daughter was heartbroken, but Pumpkin kept attacking the other mares and caused me so many vets bills!! cry  She's in a super home and the lady keeps in touch.

Hi Cate  wave

You'll have to book on a course and meet Fanta, Heather's cheeky and very bright Hispano Arab Cheesy  He usually tries to come in and join the course and will rattle the door knob if you ignore him  laugh

Oh my word!  Thank you all for the fabulous welcome and what gorgeous horses you all have.  Hi there Pikku Karhu, I'd heard there was a gorgeous Andalucian near me but wasn't sure where.  I've got into a rut really and lost the enthusiasm I had when I first moved up from Glasgow in 2003, (met some not so pleasant horse people), but hope to regain it and the enthusiasm again and get the horses I have now horses under saddle.  Will get some photos posted.  I do have a website which my daughters set up for a bit of fun and if you google bhaltos arabians you should find it, and no I'm not a stud.  Hope I haven't done anything wrong saying that.

Cheers, Cate

And I'm just up the road from you, a bit beyond Turriff (with another gorgeous Andalusian, LOL!) - and don't ever worry about coming to one of our EE "do"s just 'cos you're on your own , it's a really friendly bunch :-)

And I've just twigged from the stud name, you must have been in touch about the demo!

I love your website Cate, beautiful horses!

Jensen (my gorgeous Andalusian  Cheesy) asked me tell you that if you wanted yourself another Hispano-Arabe, he'd be more than happy to meet one of your mares... or preferably all of them...  whistle laugh laugh laugh
