doh  After being at Myerscough and watching Heather's sitting trot came home and decided to try to improve mine.  It is easier on the youngster actually because he has a bit longer trot stride than Teddy so got my friend to watch my backside and - yes - I was managing very well.  However!  My boobs were going up and down and side to side like some demented break dancer and at 36G it was not at all comfortable!  Is this 1) normal and to be endured;  2) a sign of tension somewhere else or 3) is there a better bra?  I do wear very good and supportive ones at all times anyway but even Doreen couldn't cope with this!  Bouncing bum or bouncing boobs - what a choice!  angry

Very bestest is a Racesafe body protector, other than that a level 4 OSBH with high cut front works quite well, a friend of mine anchors her 40I's with sports bra then an old fashioned longline bra topped off with a support sport top (like a t shirt type thingy)

level 4 shock absorber sports bra with a lycra vest with inbuilt bra in it over the top to really strap them babies down lol!!  I used to wear a normal bra under the sports bra but since loosing some wieght and therefore some boob size I have ditched a layer lol!

I feel your pain - I'm still trying to find a sports bra that actually copes with a very bouncy horse, thankfully Hon not that bouncy....yet..... wink

Sorry, can't add anything to what has already been said about controlling the 'upper end' bounce  wink, but well done for getting to grips with absorbing the movement  thumbs

Of course, to help lessen the bounce we could swap: you could have my comfy (if a little nutty  whistle) mare, and I'll have the gorgeous Teddy!!  laugh

Have had a look at some sports bra sites and they are not very glam are they?   (Bear in mind I was a teenager in the 60s when boobs were at armpit level and that is what I still prefer.)  Think I might go for the Doreen underneath and sports bra on top idea but just seems so constricting for short periods of sitting trot.   Greybaby, you have a lovely mare and if we were nearer we could swap about with pleasure but Teddy is MINE and stays with me forever!  At the mo his schooling sessions are amazing he really seems to have missed doing that and as I prefer to ride all lateral work in sitting trot sports bra here I come!

bravissimo's  is excellent - i'm a 34GG - no movement, no droop, not too bad on the "amorphous mass in front" effect which you get with so many non wired bras, but very solid - 4 hooks/eyes, and you have to do it up at the front then turn it round and pull it up...i see from their website there's an underwired version as well...

otherwise, i just use my normal underwired bra's, and don't bounce that much at all...

I use this one http://www.bravissimo.com/products/lingerie/sports-bras/freya/full-cup-bras/fyj3-details.aspx?colour=red&ck=C0ltqxqea5Q%3d  in fact it's so excellent that I often wear it all day everyday (don't worry, I have more than one!)

I am 28FF and have had two children, this regime of sports bra wearing all the time has done more for my figure than a boob job, and waaaay cheaper  laugh

I use the same as Fiona - the freya sportsbra. I find the underwired version really comfy and supportive and its an everyday bra for me too. I did have to go up a cup size to fit properly so be careful with sizes if ordering without trying on first.

I'll try that one too.  thumbs I use an ordinary u/w bra with a shockabsorber 4 over the top when I remember but I frequently forget and end up bouncing.  Embarrassed I must take more care ... don't want to end up like this ...  Shocked  laugh
