'Harry the Heavenly Horse'

« on: June 25, 2010, 10:16:37 PM »

We lost 2 of our lovely old riding school ponies this week and because they don't have their own owner, I just wanted to mark their passing. They were both cheeky ponies who had been in the school for a long time and had been loved by many children over the years. Lucy was a real Houdini! They had both grown old and were retired living happily but both became poorly and we lost them this week. I also heard today that one of the young girls on our yard lost her beloved horse today. He had been poorly for ages and was just about to come back into work and then got collic and died on the operating table. I must say that many tears were shed at the yard today  cry.
