Sorry to hear this Fiona, he had a great life and obviously brought you lots of joy.

I hope Houd settles in soon - walnut  bach flower remedy in his water might help.

I guess for a ferret he had a long and good life that you provided him.
You did him justice and no doubt he blossomed under your care.

My sincere condolesces. I can really sympathise, as I have a very thin, very old cat with lymphoma.

We spoke to the ferret welfare and rescue centre this afternoon, and they have said that they doubt that Houd will accept a new friend with him being such an old ferret, and the best thing to do is make extra fuss of him, and hopefully he will settle (although it's not ideal)

Aw bless poor little Houd - we have the same situation with our cat since the other one died but she's very happy thankfully - hope Houd settles soon Fiona

RIP Tim - what a very special fella he was.
