Forever and a day

« on: June 11, 2010, 10:45:19 AM »

Hey everyone,

I know some of you from other forums, but looking forwards to making lots of new friends.

I'm 23, I am studying at Warwickshire College in Moreton Morrell (west mids, near stratford upon avon and leamington) doing a BA in Equine Studies. I live in Kent the rest of the time. and work at McDs to pay the horse bills / car / phone etc wink

I own Meg, 15hh WB x Arab chestnut mare. She is just coming back into work after 4 months of with LOTS of expensive vet treatment for muscles probs, so I am sure you will see lots of threads asking for help, particularly with in hand and long reining stuff.

I also just bought (whhoooooppps) a 13.2 ish 6 yr old Newfie, unbroken, and catchable (just) but thats about it! Does not like being touched anywhere, generally not sure of people, but very sweet. He is called Sam.

Do we post pics normally, or as links on this board?

Hi and welcome to EE!  wave

My pony was just like your Sam when I had him - totally untouchable and freaked out if you did, well anything! Only difference being that mine was "broken in" (ha!). Anyway, he's still a bit nervy but otherwise absolutely fine, so it's do-able  nod Good luck with him and Meg as she comes back into work.
