Hello from South West France

Hi everyone,
Thought I'd better introduce myself.
A good friend introduced me to the site and I've been lurking for a while, reading and learning lots and thought it was time I joined in a little.

I live in South West France, have 5 horses (one still in the UK), 3 dogs, 5 cats and 3 chickens.  Our horses are all warmbloods. Mel, 15yr old Selle Francais mare, Corky,  16yr old hanoverian mare , Anky, 7 yr old Dutch mare. We've bred two youngsters, Remy 3yr old Holstein gelding and our baby, Bonbon, 2yr old Selle Francais X TB.

I did a bit of everything in my youth, but I'm a little more sedate nowadays! I think with age, my mind has opened up to many different ways of working with horses. I try to see things always from the horses point of view ( not always easy!!!), love ground work, learning in-hand, which I feel has enormous benefits for both horse and handler, but prefer to ride above everything else.
I love Philippe Karls' work, wish I could ride like Anja Beran and Paul Belasik got me started on this long, magical road.

LOVELY horses! esp like the look of Remy.....whoa!

and you have Dobes . one of my favorite dog breeds (i worked with a dog trainer years ago, and discovered what absolutely fantastic dogs they are).  you'll never bore us with photos!

The dobes are a joy, Obi dobe is a bit dorky too, hmmm perhaps that's the influence I have on them!
