how often I've read these tributes Today Sootty slipped away from us - perhaps he thought the time was right with Dani's first foals in the stabels for weaning. It was one thing his brave strong spirit couldn't conquer - the terrible colic or perhaps a cancer. The vets came and went through the morning until lunch time when it was agreed he was already dying and he was gently put to sleep. He was strong and well until the end and had a wonderful time competing with Dani each day to lead the way - always proud, my dear gutsy horse.   |
