My friend (and former Member) Amy's horse the devilishly cheeky but oh so talented Gaetano du Paon - who was lovingly nicknamed Git and certainly lived up to it on occasion died this morning
He was rushed to vets with severe colic last night, had a tap and was tubed and started bleeding, vets worried as he wouldn't clot properly. After seeming to perk up a bit he Colicked again and went through one bout of surgery and a transfusion overnight as he was still bleeding internally
Back into surgery again this morning as he started colicking again, his immune system was breaking down and he had no white blood cells -when they opened him up this time they found cancer cells and he was still haemorrhaging so they let him go
