Just bought this book and about halfway through it. It is the best I have read yet on in hand work, could have been written by Becky, it is so similar!! Very well explained and simple, it is the perfect book to start in hand work, and I recommend it without hesitation.

Absolutely agree - and I found my copy in Mole Valley Farmers so it's readily available. Good clear pictures to illustrate as well.

You wait 'til you get to the end Heather, and read malcolm's story - it says it all about the philosophy and worth of this work Smiley

I really like it, as well. Glad to hear you think the content is correct, it sometimes feels like a leap of faith taking info like this from a book.

Yes it is really good isn't it.  Even I have been able to follow it, it is so clear and accessible.   Wish there was a DVD to go with it.  However I understand there are some plans for Becky to produce one whistle whistle whistle

It's easily my favourite Inhand book - I have the ones by Dietz and Hinrichs also....this one seems so much more for & with the horse.

Love it  thumbs

Mines still half read by my bed from last year  doh  Just never enough hours in the day, but I love it, so easy to understand and will get reading again soon and practicing on the others, ready for when Daisy is old enough to start doing stuff with.
