I'm new here - have subscribed and had my account activated, etc and received an email saying I can now post but I don't seem to be able to post anywhere but here.  My account was activated about a week ago so am sure that must be enough time.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks so much,

!! well they'll have to wait some time!

Unfortunately, I sold my beloved eventer in Jan this year because I'd just had our daughter and realised that a somewhat wild (but v talented) eventer didn't really mix with parenthood.  Am now pregnant with Number 2 so there's no point horsing myself up until he/she's arrived on the scene.

Am tempted to buy a yearling from a friend of mine because I love his bloodlines but am slightly holding out as I'd rather have a filly.  I also reckon the timing'd be quite handy as it'd be ready for backing at the same time that I'd be champing at the bit to be getting away from children and back with horses again!

If I can suss it out, I'll post a photo of my eventer but looking at all these buttons it may take a bit of faffing about!

Ok, I really think this one will work - it's not even that great a photo so prob not worth all this effort!

Hope you don't mind but I've made it work for you

It's probably worth getting a Photobucket account and copying the 'IMG' code once you've uploaded the photo.

Re membership, did you give put your username on your payment?  I know that Debbie's had a few problems trying to match up accounts with usernames so that might be the reason.

He is/was a lovely horse - def my horse of a lifetime but sadly he came to me at a bad time - I bought him as a 4 yr old fairly fresh off the track, spent a couple of years bringing him on and dealing with issues resulting from his early life such as ulcers, dodgy feet, etc etc.  Finally got to the stage where he was ready to go and had to send him to a friend to compete as I was pregnant, had a miscarriage and was pregnant by the following season so never got the chance to compete him myself apart from his early training in unaffilliated things. Then had to sell him once my daughter arrived so have always felt a bit frustrated that I had the most amazing horse and never had the opportunity to do what I wanted to do - hey ho, I'm sure there'll be another, one day!
