Just popping in to say I read a lot and finally joined.
I live in Canberra, have 3 horses, and am eagerly awaitng the arrival of new Vogue GPS ( and praying it suits my horses) they love the Fhoenix GP  I have and so do I, but  a new one seemed like a good idea.
I first saw the saddle a coupe, of years ago at an Equisimulator clinic with Dr Paul Cairns.
I tried a few treeless saddles after I did a Tellington T Touch course and then found the Fhoenix second hand ( I had tried a few freeform saddles) but I love the Fhoenix much more than any others I tried.
This is my new little anglo arab and me- hes wearing the Phoenix.

He had the sorest back I had ever seen, but we are working on that slowly and hes doing pretty well now. When I met him and he was saddled he lurched and bit the air violently ( dont ask me why I bought him, but I just had to bring him home)  hes cool.
This is my 17yo Appy and he loves it too- fitting saddles to him has been a big challenge all the years I owned him- it does slide back, but so does every other saddle we try, and he doesnt buck at all with heathers saddles- so much happier than he has been for years

Thanks all- I shall keep reading, I love my boys,  and yes, Its great to have Paul over here, I just wonder why I took so long to find a Fhoenix and try it, but money was always the guiding factor... now I thank my dads passing for being able to try the Vogue ( then I wonder about the smart panels, and think GEE maybe thats better Embarrassed

This is my third horse- His name is Shadow, he is the same age as my son, and my son began riding him when he was 12.
he is 19 now.
He is lame now, but still happy, he loves walks in the Fhoenix saddle too

Then I used him for teaching for a while- after my son was about 14 and didnt ride much

He loves helping people learn.
These are 2 of my fav last pics- of me riding him
