Have finally decided to join. A bit about myself...

Well I ride Western... yes its different aids to classical but the inhand/lines stuff is the same so thought I could pick ya brains on it all for my youngstock.  whistle

Got 5 ponies:
Elliott a retired, with arthritis, cob who is 14 yo (I think) had him since he was 9 months old and done classical and western with him and used to help Tony Damiper with the Lancs CRC stuff when we where english riding....

Next is Lucy, my baby girl, a 5 yo Fell pony mare who I am just starting to back (hence the brush up with longlines etc), she will go one to do reining ...

Then there is Lorel who I ride as and when I am fit enough to.. she is in training as a reining pony... excuse the bad photo, not got many on pc of her.. but she is a Grey Fell pony, 6 yo. Was stared last year and with my fall this year has now got around 3 months of ridden work on her. whistle

Flynn is a 4yo Fell pony, going grey, going on 2 yrs old physically and mentally, think he will  have to wait to be ridden till he is around 6 yo!!!

He is one the right in thois photo

ANd last but not least Walter, a 5 yo shetland who is a joy to own. He does pull a saddle charriot sometimes.... devil  whenhe is in the  mood!

Hi and welcome
I like your grey Fells, are they from one particular line or are a lot of the breed grey? (I thought they were all black, but then I'm a daft southern jessie laugh)

Catkin, Fells come in Black, Bay and Grey models LOL  Shocked

Greys where owned by the monasteries and were not allowed to be owned by the 'commoners'. They are becoming more popular these days.   thumbs

Hello.  wave

Lovely furry beasties.  thumbs I LOVE mine when they get their full winter coats, like great big teddy bears. Ant the littly in the saddle chariot looks FAB. I've wanted one of those for sooooooooooooo long. Is it as much fun as it looks?
